THE PHOTO THAT GALVANIZED AMERICA. The famous picture of our boys in uniform raising the flag atop Mt. Suribachi on Iwo Jima. This was the second flag to be raised, because the first was too small to be seen at a distance by their buddies on the ship and further afield. As it was raised, a cheer went up all around them. They held the hill for three days, and the flag was never taken down. Poster measures 19" x 26"
