Operation Babylift occurred on April 1975 when President Ford issued executive order to help evacuate some 3000 babies out of Vietnam during the closing days of Vietnam War. Many Vietnam Vets had contributed to the cause, and will come to see their comrades, the babies who now adults, caretakers, nurses of the Operation Babylift community. Many of these babies grew up and joined the U.S. Military. President Ford was also a WWII Veteran, US Navy branch.
