Additional Info: Each year November, following our local 10 November Birthday Ball a few Marines and their family and friends go on a 7 day Caribbean cruise.
During November 2013, our onboard cake cutting ceremony was attended by approximately 30-40 Veterans, family members and friends.
November 2014 we hope to have many more join in fun, camaraderie and traditional Marine Corps ceremonies.

Additional Info: All Enlisted and Flight Crews that served with VMA(AW)533 from its deployment to Chu Lai in 1967, until its return to CONUS. This includes the Iwakuni and Rose Garden contingents. We are thinning out Brothers due to age and illness, so lets combine our three groups to keep the numbers up. We all share that Vietnam experience. Time is short to the start of this gathering but as of 2014/26/02 we still have 14 rooms left of our block at the spectacular Fairfax Hotel where Presidents, Congressmen and Kings have stayed. During these difficult and hostile times around the world we keep America's Marine Security Guards close in our thoughts and in our hearts and wish them a safe and successful tour.
The Marine Embassy Guard Association hosts an annual reunion for all MSGs to get together and share camaraderie and trade stories and items.

There will be time to view the Memorial Plaque mounted on the Semper Fidelis Memorial Wall. Lunch and a martial arts demonstration follow before returning to the Hotel.
Saturday, Sept 20, the Memorial Breakfast and Dinner Banquet / Program finish off the weekend events.
Sunday, Sept 21, farewells are said as we depart until we meet again in 2015!
