Dont forget the other beer that seemed to be around more than the others in my time in country (67-70). Ballentine, it made any other beer seem like a gift from heaven. Ice at that time didnt even appear in our vocabulary during my time with the the 5th Marines and the ROC Marines (Koreans). The ROC Marines would use Jim Beam (their favorite drink) to chase the Ballentine beer versus the other way around it was so bad. You are right though no matter where we were you could find the bar girls.

About your photos. The girl holding the tray her name is Mai. That doesn’t look like Nancy next to Mai, yet I could be wrong. The bottom photo her is Lan.
