These are four radio operators that I served with in 66 and 67. From left to right, Smitty, Mouse Westric, ? and Southern. I went to radio/telegraph operators school at MCRD San Diego with Mouse and Southern. They were in RT5A and I was in RT5. I'm sending this picture and short story because I've had real good luck with finding Marine buddies or having them locate me through the BS page. - The sign that greets everyone that enters this compound via the Motor Transport gate. It is me, Mark Haile Young, the sign painter and driver. Some of my more hazardous duties were teaching the communication guys to drive.
