Sgt. Grit, A friend of mine was in Siesta Key from 11/11/11 thru 11/15/11. The Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce held their 2nd annual Crystal Classic Sand Sculpture competition. This is but one of the sculptures that was of the only interest to me that I thought was worth sharing on your web site/newsletter, especially since it was the Corps birthday week. Semper Fi. Sgt. I wanted to share a story with my fellow Marines. On Friday, November 11, 2011 in downtown Amherst, Ohio in northern Ohio there will be a dedication of a mural depiction of the famous second flag raising on Mt. Suribachi. This is my hometown, the town I grew up in and the town I currently live. Hello being a former marine my family receives your catalog regularly, and noticed you have a photo contest. My son Brandon Devlin is a cadet in the MCJROTC program in South Iredell High School and will be attending the Marine Corps ball again this year through the program.
