USMC American Legend KA-Bar Review by Ron Gladson

This knife is scary sharp and easy to keep that way. Normally I would use a smaller knife for field dress deer but the KA-Bar will make short work of it, indeed the best knife I have ever used.

K Bar christmas Review by Bob Russ
-
2 sons, both Marines (I'm retired Navy corpsman) got me the perfect gifts for Christmas this year - the oldest gave me a 556 cal ammo can to store my rounds in and the youngest gave me the Ka Bar knife I mentioned I would like (way back in August). Great knife, I keep it next to my 357 beside the bed (sleep vey well, thank you).

KA-BAR Review by Steve Driever

The KA-BAR and sheath are great. Glad to see that the knife was still made in NY. The quality was as good as ever. When he was a child, my son had inadvertently broken the tip off my original KA-BAR that I had during active duty. When I mentioned at Christmas dinner that I had given a new KA-BAR to myself, my son, now in his late 30s blurted out, "I'm sorry about that, dad." And that is how important the KA-BAR is a Marine.

happy and dissapointed Review by Daniel Dunn

After much anticipation I recieved my new KA-BAR today. Picking it up out of the box the 1st thing that I noticed was the handle. I was decidedly not made of leather. That was my 1st disappointment. Looking at the blade I then noticed that it was not engraved but instead was painted. It isn't like these two things matter to much I would have still bought the knife. Its a KA-BAR, I mean how much good can you say about something like that. Awesome just doesn't cut it. However I would have liked to know about the handle and the "engraving" before hand.
I wonder how many zombies I will have to kill before the paint wears down.
