Skeleton Uncle Sam Tattoo
I'm currently stationed in 29 Palms, CA, soon headed to Oki. I got this, along with another one on my forearms. I only have a picture of the one as of now. Standard moto tats. I got 'em done at Pair-A-Dice Tattooz Studio here in town. The pictures don't do them justice. Ironically enough, the contest Gunny Davis recently won at the same tattoo parlor, I came in second.

Marine Tribute TattooRecently my husband's grandfather has past and we came across your website researching some ideas for marine tribute tattoos . His grandfather had served in the marines and was very proud, so I designed a rough copy of an idea and we brought it to the tattoo place where he fixed up my design a bit and we'd like to share the finished piece with your website .... |

Son-In-Law and Father-In-Law Tattoos
Hey Sgt. Grit-My husband returned from Iraq in March and my father, a former Marine could not wait to go with him to get their Marine Corps tattoos...My father has been out for over 30 years and said he was past due. They both went a couple of weeks after my husband returned. Here are a couple pics of what they got. My husband is SSGT Aaron LaTourette, MALS 49 stationed out of Newburgh,NY (Stewart Air National Guard Base). He has been in for 8 years and has always wanted a tattoo. My father was a Lcpl when he got out during Vietnam, Lcpl. Stephen Wood. He joined the corps to go to Vietnam and ended up in Iceland! He tried his hardest to go to Iraq, but was told he is too old :)....They got their tattoos done by Jon at Dermaflicks in Norwalk, CT. He did an awesome job!
Thanks for all that you do for all of the retired Marines and the ones still serving! Sincerely, Kimberly LaTourette Proud Marine Daughter and Wife :) |
Fallujah Memorial
My tattoo is in resemblence to the Vietnam Memorial yet depicted as the Fallujah Memorial for my close brothers I lost in Operation Phantom Phury, the "Push Through Fallujah." In November of 2004, Kilo Co 3rd Bn 5th Marines assaulted Fallujah, marked as the biggest offensive since Hue City, Vietnam. It symbolizes that all Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines, whom gave the greatest sacrifice, past and present, Are Never Forgotten.RIP- Lcpl Hodges, Lcpl Payton, Lcpl Adlesperger, Cpl Stewart, Cpl Anderson Jr. Terrence J vanDoorn K 3/5 1st Mar Div Cpl / USMC |
