I can't believe I made it through my years in the Corps without getting a tattoo, so here I am 8 years later with my first one (of many since I'm hooked now). USMC Tattoos

My daughter’s school honored all veterans this past Veteran’s Day with a breakfast and school assembly. It’s amazing how all us Marines, from young to old; still show our Esprit De Corps! When asked to stand, we all shouted out with a blood curdling bark or Ooooooh Raaaaah! Gave me chills!!! So after being out for 12 years, I finally decided to honor our fallen brothers by getting some ink. First I decided to get the EGA from my high school buddy, Brian Berky, who is a great artist. A week later, Brian called and said he had a new idea of a piece for my back I might like. So, here it is.

Memorial Tattoo

Attached is a picture of my husband's tattoo he recieved to honor the memory of his youngest son who died in Iraq on January 26, 2005. The tattoo was done mostly in freehand by the talented Chere' of Tapestry Tattoo in Roseburg, OR. She did such a beautiful memorial and we would like to share it with Sgt Grit and the readers.

USMC Tribal Tattoo

Sarge, just wanted to send in a pic of my son's tattoo. After 3 tours in Iraq with 1/5 Marines, with the first ground unit into the war, second as a squad leader in Fallujah, and last time as a sniper in Ramadi, our sergeant is being rewarded with a couple of years off to complete his undergraduate degree under the MECEP program and will graduate as a 2nd Lt. He recently rewarded himself with this unique tattoo showing his committment to our Corps and his faith in God. We are quite proud of our Marine...Sgt. Clayton T. Anderson, 1/5 Marines. Semper Fi, J. First Tattoo

Hey SGt Grit I am a MSG, I have been to 3 countries. So My very first tattoo ( that I waited unitl I was leave the Corps to get) is USMC in the language of all three languages that I learn on the MSG Program. And the symbol in the middle is my initials (ELT)

The U is English
The E is French for states
The p thing is Arabic for Marine
The K is Russian for Corps

Saw your moto tat page for the first time so I had to put my pics up to plus one. I have bought several things from ur site and love the stuff you guys have. I bought the shirt that had the speech that Maj Gen Mattis gave before we went through breechpoint west. As soon as he was done speeking these guys came full bore over our crowd. That was a day. The tats are my own design and one put in a different spot then I have seen before. My leg piece was done at Tidewater Tattoo in Glasgow Delaware by Wendy. My tuefel hunden tat was done down my triceps outside of Camp Pendleton in a shop in Temecula can't remember who. Keep up the great job giving all us dogs the gear we want.
