The word you are all seeking in describing the present style of writing in Sgt. Grit is “FLACCID.” A synonym for “feeble,” “weak,” “without force,” (pick one).

Have to agree with Deuce and Dennis. While on the one hand it seems to have eliminated the “I’ll handle the comments on this story “so and so”, you handle the next one” comments, it certainly lacks the layout, the old stories with the first hand accounts, the wonderful character and color of the misspellings, and the exchanges that they generated. I think you hit it on the head Dennis!! More like reading articles from “Stars and Stripes” or “Marine Corps Times”.

I miss the old format. Guess I’ll need to “spam” Sgt Grit. This ain’t makin it.
