Hey Art,
What platoon were you in? I was in Plt 141, and we spent our maintenance week at Camp Matthews taking apart the target carriages and moving them to Edson Range at Camp Pendleton. I remember being told that we were the last series to qualify at Camp Matthews. Semper Fi!!

I’m guilty. I cracked up on a few of these because they hit home. My wife was in jail with Joan Baez in the late 60’s and I wanted to just “kick ass on anyone with long hair “. Still together after 45 years of marriage. Simper Fi Devil Dogs.

Tom Breen - April 8, 2020

On a drive with my wife , of over 15 years, turns toward me and says “ I don’t understand you, you still carry yourself like a Marine, talk to people like a Marine it’s as if you never left the Corps. After about 10 seconds I said “ that’s alright honey, no one else understands either. She has never brought up that subject since. It been every bit of 20 years. Semper Fi brothers and sisters.
